सुपे : Students Learn Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy Lessons through ‘Market Fair 2026’ Supe, Sept 12, 2026: With the aim of developing financial literacy, business and entrepreneurial skills among students and to give them a practical understanding of buying and selling, Vidya Pratishthan Supe English Medium School organized ‘Market Fair 2026’ on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. The fair was inaugurated by parent representatives Mrs. Madhuri Rahul Kharade, Vaishali Kishor Sable, Jyoti Rahul Dhamdhere, Supriya Amol Bhapkar and the school Principal Dr. Yogesh Patil. The event was graced by special guests Mr. Rajendra Jagdale, President of Rotary Club Kurkumbh MIDC, and Mr. Anil Shitole, Secretary of Rotary Club Kurkumbh MIDC. Students set up and managed stalls of various products and food items. The major attractions were stalls of Ganpati idols made by the students themselves, Ganpati decoration material, food items, vegetables, fruits, stationery, various spices, fun games and decoration items.

Through this activity, students got hands-on experience in selecting products, fixing prices, buying-selling, customer interaction, money transactions, profit-loss and basic business planning. This helped develop financial planning, confidence, communication skills, leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Parent Mr. Amol Bhapkar spontaneously thanked Principal Dr. Yogesh Patil with a bouquet for the excellent organization of the fair.

Due to the guidance of the principal and teachers and the enthusiastic participation of students, ‘Market Fair 2026’ was conducted successfully. All the items from the stalls were sold out, which doubled the students' enthusiasm. Students had set up a total of 350 sale stalls with an estimated total turnover of around Rs. 3.5 lakh, teachers estimated.

Expressing their views, students said that they realized how much hard work their parents have to do to earn money and that they will not misuse money in future. The programme was anchored and vote of thanks was given by Mr. Raut Dada and students Arkan Wasim Shikalgar and Tanmay Tushar Gawali of Std 9th.
